As your Wedding Celebrant, Lesley will help create your unique and personal wedding ceremony. This can be across the South West Coast of England or anywhere in the UK.
I am here to help create your perfect day, from the very first moment we chat
So how can I help you?
First things first, secure your date - them I am booked for your ceremony, I only book one ceremony for the day
Then, I get to know you both and find out your Love Story - this helps me write a beautiful script for the day.
Need help with your vows? Yes, I can do that too, as well as any additional readings, poems and music choices.
I provide my own PA system and microphones if needed. I will liaise with the Venue Coordinator, your Wedding Planner and musicians. I will also co-ordinate the ceremony in liaison with your Wedding Photographer so that you get the best photo memories of the day. Just so you know, I am a keen weather-watcher, so I can liaise with your Venue to ensure we have a Plan B just in case! You could always bury a sausage in your garden the day before - an Old Wives' tale - it wards off adverse weather - it works!
All of this is included in my Ceremony fee for 2026, of £700 which includes local reasonable travel expenses. Please note that a deposit of 50% of the fee is required as payment immediately to secure the date. The final balance is due 12 weeks prior to the wedding date. All payments are non-refundable, so do take out Wedding Insurance cover.

Some additional extras!
I can also help with making your day extra-special, with unique wedding mini rituals including hand-fasting, ring-warming and other Celtic rituals - we can discuss further if you would like to consider these. If it would also help smooth the way, we can do a venue visit together and even have a rehearsal for the main part of the ceremony. These additional extras will add a little more to the cost of your day.
Let's talk about the Legal Bits
As an Independent Wedding Celebrant, I am not licensed to carry out a legal marriage ceremony, but I can help advise you in 5 easy steps:
No 1. Book your Wedding Venue - your dream wedding venue doesn't have to be 'licensed' to perform a Wedding Celebrant ceremony
No 2. Book your Wedding Celebrant - we get booked up very quickly, however, I am extremely flexible regarding dates, times and locations - please contact me as soon as you are able
No 3. Book your Statutory Wedding Ceremony - Councils do these on a weekly or monthly basis but you can choose any registry office for a date, ideally before your wedding ceremony day leaving you free to have the day of your dreams. The fee is £67 - £56 for the ten-minute legal marriage ceremony and £11 for the legal marriage certificate
No 4. Give notice for your legal marriage ceremony - This must be done at your local council
No 5. Plan your perfect Wedding Day - your way with Lesley ! - No restrictions on times, dates, locations. The possibilities are endless - your words, music and flow of the ceremony are all your choices. Even your furry friend dan be part of your ceremony - maybe your official Ring Bearer! Let the fun begin!
